Business Intelligence Analyst

What will you be doing?

The Business Intelligence Analyst at MoLo will be responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining reports and dashboards that tell the story of MoLo's data. As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will enable stakeholders across the organization to make better business decisions by supporting intraday and historical reporting. You will work collaboratively and cross-functionally to drive strategy and achieve MoLo's goals. You will demonstrate MoLo's core values across all aspects of the position and in all interactions with the MoLo family.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust reports and dashboards to enable stakeholders to extract insights and value from data.
• Find hidden patterns through data analysis
• Closely collaborate with stakeholders across the company and fellow Business Intelligence team members to build data products
• Drive corporate strategy by ensuring internal data, BI activity and technologies are aligned
• If necessary, research and propose any additional BI tools, "build or buy", to support MoLo's strategic business initiatives
• Support MoLo's Business Intelligence team by establishing best practices, developing tools, and building infrastructure
• Act as a resource to share, and learn, best practices from the rest of the BI team
• Promote data governance and management as a strategic discipline

Requirements

What we're looking for:

• Education in data analysis, business intelligence, IT, or engineering preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to train and mentor less experienced team members
• Capable learner who owns both successes and failures
• Results oriented, self-motivated and driven to succeed
• Exerience with SQL and RDBMS (Snowflake, Azure)
• Experience with data visualization utilizing enterprise BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
• Experience working with RESTful APIs
