What will you be doing?
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining reports that tell the story of MoLo's data. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will help stakeholders solve problems by analyzing data, discovering drivers, and creating dashboards. Your work will enable stakeholders to understand their problem and give them the tools to take corrective action moving forward.
Main Responsibilities:

• Utilize data visuals to help simplify a complex business problem to enable fast decision making for stakeholders
• Understand KPI's important to the business, and methods to best track and report on them
• Find hidden patterns through data analysis
• Own the entire analytics process from initial data exploration to delivery of data insights (reports, dashboards, etc.) for tasks and projects
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to understand the problems they need to solve
• Maintain and update existing suite of SQL queries and Power BI reports
• Perform ad hoc reports when necessary
• Follow best practices, develop tools, and build team specific infrastructure
• Other duties and projects, as assigned

Requirements
What we're looking for:

• 2 years of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst or similar position preferred
• Experience in the third-party logistics or logistics industry preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in data science, mathematics, statistics or equivalent degree preferred
• Advanced understanding of Power BI visuals, DAX calculations, and data modeling
• Advanced use of data visuals to quickly sum up and highlight a business problem
• Advanced SQL, including use of CTE's, views, and sub queries
• Knowledge of basic statistics to quickly summarize the story of the data through use of quartiles, box plots, or data distribution preferred.
• Experience interacting with high level stakeholders, including C Suite and VP level
• Error handling abilities including detecting and removing dupes, outliers, nulls, and unnecessary columns
• Ability to work independently
• Master multi-tasker with ability to manage multiple high-profile analytics projects
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

This position is located in our Chicago office at 167 Green Street in the Fulton Market District.
