Position Summary
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for providing insights about our products and customer base by delivering on demand project requests to our internal stakeholders. The person taking this role will be responsible for understanding the business needs, translating them into tangible working solutions, and taking a lead role in the execution of the key deliverables. This position involves comprehensive product performance analytics, ad hoc analysis, and standard reporting KPIs to be developed into dashboarding solutions. This role requires extensive collaboration between multiple teams to provide effective support and strategic guidance on the IGT gaming business. In addition to tasks listed below, this position has visibility and interaction with leadership team, and will report directly to the Director of Business Intelligence in Gaming Finance.
Responsibilities
- Promote and develop the adoption of cloud-based technologies and innovative solutions to add value through web dashboards
- Solve complex issues with large, ambiguous datasets
- Articulate business problems and shape analytics results into informing, compelling stories for the business to understand and consume
- Perform construction of the framework for large-scale, value-added predictive solutions to be used by functions to assist with Deals Analysis
- Closely work on the day-to-day tasks with the team of data analysts as it relates to various projects and other team initiatives
- Execute the development and implementation of short-term and long-term Data Science Analytics strategies with other global system/process owners including SAP, Master Data governance, Salesforce, other internal systems
- Develop and provide quality metrics and education to existing and potential stakeholders
- Coordinate with IGT system owners and stakeholders to obtain reliable and accurate information required to support new and existing solutions built and maintained by the team
First Year Goals
Within the first year, the Business Intel Analyst IV will become a subject matter expert and critical resource in providing Gaming KPIs, product dynamics, and trusted advisor to Sales & Product Management in the following areas:
- Successfully develop user friendly, customer facing, data products
- Facilitates communication with appropriate business partners regarding business analytics/data science
- Responsible for identifying gaps in data and working with internal departments to resolve any data integrity issues
- Responsible for facilitating the adherence to data governance over sensitive financial information
- Builds productive relationships and feedback loops with Sales, Sales Ops, Product Management, Accounting, and Finance teams
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, or Data Science related field
- Min 4 years of experience in related field
- Finance-related experiences applicable to the position preferred
- Experience in SQL, Salesforce and Tableau CRM
- Experience in all phases of performing data science projects: defining a problem, formulating a solution, building a model, delivering a measurable product
- Ability to define requirements and use data metrics to draw business insights that lead to better informed, stakeholder decisions
- Strong organizational and project management skills to ensure all tasks are completed on time.

At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $71,000 - $165,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
