Job Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Cat Digital BI team. This position focuses on building visualization and data to support our dealer portfolio. This includes but is not limited to visualization for the DACS Scorecard and the Dealer Deployment dashboards.
Gathers and documents user/client requirements supports the development and testing of new products or services collects feedback from clients and recommends improvements.
What You Will Do:

• Assisting in the development testing and delivery of services/products; Analyzing existing offerings preparing technical documentation and recommending upgrades.
• Conducting market research to do a comparative analysis of competitor offerings and provide recommendations for developing a more effective product/service.
• Identifying user/client requirements for a product or service and defining technical specifications; Preparing technical documentation and sharing them with senior analysts and technical teams.
• Supporting senior analysts by fulfilling their data requests preparing reports and providing technical assistance; Participating in initiatives to improve processes efficiency and employee productivity.

What You Will Have:
Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit receive and accurately interpret ideas information and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
Business Data Analysis: Knowledge of business data analysis; ability to collect identify analyze and interpret business data using various kinds of techniques to meet business needs and requirements.
Business Assessment: Knowledge of the activities tasks practices and deliverables for assessing and documenting business opportunities; ability to assess the benefits risks and success factors of potential applications.
Requirements Analysis: Knowledge of tools methods and techniques of requirement analysis; ability to elicit analyze and record required business functionality and non-functionality requirements to ensure the success of a system or software development project.
Technical Writing/Documentation: Knowledge of technical writing; ability to write technical documents such as manuals reports guidelines or documents on standards processes and applications.
Product Design and Development: Knowledge of product features; ability to design build and develop a new product technology or service from concept through to production.
Research Analysis: Knowledge of the concepts methodologies and methods of research analysis; ability to locate interpret and evaluate research findings compiled and documented by others.
Considerations For Top Candidates:

• Proficiency in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel
• Experience with Tableau
• Experience with Power Bi

$97530.00 - $146290.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors job level market location job-related knowledge skills individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
