Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Participates in the design, development and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. used to drive key business decisions.

Works within controls to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and confidentiality of all managerial and business intelligence reports, views, dashboards, and user data. Implements new business reports within the established reporting framework, policies and procedures. Trains and supports end users on accessing of reports.

Analyzes and interprets data and business intelligence reports.

Works with others in the development of data warehouses and other data sources to support managerial and business intelligence reporting needs.

Works with business intelligence manager and other staff to assess various reporting needs. Analyzes reporting needs and requirements, assesses current reporting in the context of strategic goals and devise plans for delivering the most appropriate reporting solutions to users.

Educates & trains user community on the potential uses of the business intelligence system

Extracts financial, statistical and other data from various information systems and other sources.

Designs and develops recurring and ad-hoc business intelligence solutions such as reports, cubes, and dashboards, using industry best practices for presentation, efficiency, and user friendliness. Designs reports to aid in the efficient assimilation of the data by users by engaging exception reporting,

• Creates specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

• May provide consultation to users and lead cross-functional teams to address business issues.

• May directly produce datasets and reports for analysis using system reporting tools

Primary responsibilities include:

Time Studies

Collection and analysis of large data sets which include time study data and standard labor hours for each SPG product Analysis of data sets using standard statistical methods

Central Services

Development and maintenance of dashboards to track quality programs which include Calibration, Preventative Maintenance, Space utilization, Particle count data Maintenance of Central Services web-based applications

Development of workflow applications for Central Services processes

Ideal Candidate will have:

  • An in-depth understanding of Applied Materials manufacturing processes and build sequences.
  • Experience with the development of labor forecasting models
  • Demonstrated success leveraging big data and visualization tools.
  • Working knowledge of Python, SQL, Tableau, Power BI

U.S. Salary Range:

$72,000.00 - $99,000.00

The salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on a number of factors including location and level and will vary depending on confirmed job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, candidates may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as participation in a bonus and a stock award program, as applicable.
