Business Intelligence Analyst Intern

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Intelligence Analyst Intern to join the MyFitnessPal Business Intelligence Team. You will join a growing analyst team in MyFitnessPal and research, interpret, and support marketing metrics to better understand market trends and consumer behavior. Marketing support spans all facets of marketing including content, product, CRM, SEO, and performance marketing. The Business Intelligence team is a great place to be at MyFitnessPal - we are on the pulse of the business; responsible for Top KPIs, Monitoring and Alerts, AB Testing, Data Democratization and Strategic Insights.

• Be a contributor to growth and analysis of our core marketing metrics 
• Utilize data products like Snowflake and Tableau to build dynamic visualizations
• Work to produce insights involving consumer behavior, market trends, and drivers for marketing performance
• Evolve current processes and various technologies to find how they might connect and improve the customer benefits we wish to deliver
• Collaborate with other analysts and engineers to drive action throughout the business
• Develop and deliver a project while learning something new, in an area of your interest and with autonomy
• Be mentored by an experienced teammate through the internship and advance in your career goals

• Be a current, full-time college student working towards a degree with coursework related to Data Analytics or a Data discipline with at least one academic term remaining following an internship at MyFitnessPal. The following students are generally eligible:
  • Undergraduate students graduating between December 2022 and May 2023
  • (rising Juniors or Seniors)
  • Students completing their master’s degree between December 2022 and May
  • 2023
  • Full Time MBA students between the 1st and 2nd year of their program
• Experience in SQL
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Amplitude (Looker, PowerBI, etc)
• Passion for analysis and using data to drive business decisions
• Curious Mindset - We are looking for someone who enjoys seeking the truth through data - if you ever found yourself bringing in out-of-the-box datasets and theories because you just had to figure out why a number moved, this is the job for you
• Reliable access to the internet and comfortable in a remote working environment
