What You Will Contribute:

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

• Work with all site/regional teams to review business processes for overall efficiency improvements
• Assist in selection and implementation of business systems to support long-term growth of Badger Meter (examples - supplier portal, ERP systems)
• Assist in developing and implementing a robust SIOP process. This ranges from forecast analysis and accuracy to efficient production scheduling of jobs on the manufacturing floor, and inventory optimization tools
• Assist with tools to help identify capacity constraints using the SIOP process and customer requirements, as well as tools to calculate product lead-times for customer orders
• Manage and optimize inventory practices. This includes processes and business tools for inventory reduction/optimization as well as inventory accuracy and cycle counting.
• Assist with tools to evaluate and manage business costs to improve overall productivity. This ranges from purchased cost standards to routing and bill of material information accuracy.
• Provide and optimize business system tools to support inventory transitions of product families as well as manage the elimination of excess, slow moving, or obsolete inventory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 8+ or more years of related experience
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college preferably in Operations management, Supply Chain, Purchasing/Sourcing, general management, or engineering

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Supply Chain Planning
• Management of multi-facility/business unit material flows
• Make vs buy evaluations
• Team leadership abilities
