Job Title: Business Intelligence Analyst - Tableau

Introduction:

The Business Intelligence Analyst focuses on soliciting and documenting requirements from our business partners, working closely with the technical team to ensure the technical solution meets the customer's needs. With a process improvement mindset, they will be able to map out future state of the solution, procedures or systems that will enable technology to resolve business problems. The candidate should be passionate about Tableau and continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

• Design, development, testing and deployment of Tableau Dashboards adding structure to ambiguous business problems and recommending visualization solutions.
• Monitor ETL processes, system audits, Dashboard Reporting and Presentation Layer functioning and performance and pro-actively fix issues as found
• Perform system integration and deployment activities, prepare system support documentation, and document program and system functions.
• Consult with client groups to assess user needs and understand the business processes. Use business intelligence and Tableau to empower non-technical, internal customers to drive their own analytics and reporting.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
• Must possess at least 4 years of Business Intelligence, analytics, statistics and/or reporting experience with Tableau
• Extensive experience providing complex analysis, conceptualizing, designing, implementing, and developing solutions for critical BI components
• Strong SQL development skills needed, writing complex queries and stored procedures with SQL, PL/SQL and T-SQL
• Understanding of development, data modeling and ETL
• Have the confidence to work cross-functionally with various departments including business stakeholders and technical personnel to exchange ideas.
• Must have excellent verbal communications skills and documentation skills to maintain work flows and dashboard functionality.
• Experience working on a support team environment by documenting, researching, solving problems via phone calls or email ticketing system.
• Experience working directly with business analysts or business sponsors to gather and validate functional requirements and provide the design specifications.

Preferred Skills:

• Tableau Community contribution and Server Administration experience
