Business Intelligence (BI) Developer
Job Description
This is a fully remote opportunity, however the selected candidate must reside in Minnesota or Wisconsin. Relocation to these states will be required of the selected candidate.
Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range for this opportunity is $95,825 to $143,748, with a median salary of $_119,787/annually. Pay is dependent on several factors including relevant work experience and internal equity. Salary is just one component of the compensation package for employees. - Resolve complex technical problems

- Develop good relationships and teamwork within team and also with vendors and consultants
- Keep a positive attitude while working with frequent interruptions and changing organizational priorities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes and develops complex databases supporting enterprise reporting and analysis systems.
- Consults with customers and Practice Managers to define technical
requirements. - Develops data structures that meets business requirements, follows standards, and performs efficiently.
- Installs and configures middle-tier software and third party tools, as required.

- Tests and implements computer based information systems.
- Develops testing software to assess systems functionality.
- Ensures database population methods are efficient, accurate, and complete.
- Develops and maintains technical documentation on computer based information systems; compiles documentation for design changes or creation criteria.
- Provides data assurance.
- Ensures data is protected according to standards and established data policies.
- Develops applications in maintainable way to ensure future changes won't introduce data integrity issues according to established standards and policies
- Manages resources effectively.
- Engages regularly in formal and informal dialogue about quality and directly addresses quality concerns promptly.
- Demonstrates a sense of ownership, focusing on and driving critical issues to closure.
- Demonstrates strong understanding of the information or data to identify and elevate issues as early as possible in development cycle.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 2 years' experience developing using SQL databases
- Excellent SQL skills
- Experience with Enterprise Data Warehousing
- Excellent analytical, problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Displays a high degree of initiative, energy, dedication, and innovation on a regular basis
- Must have the ability to work well within a fluid team structure and maintain a professional attitude
Preferred:
- Experience in a healthcare environment
- Experience working in MS Azure (Data Factory, Managed Instance, Dev Ops)
- Experience developing in MS SQL associated technologies (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, etc.)
