Job Summary

BI Developer will serve as a member of the BI & Reporting team, that is responsible for BI solutions (Analytics, Automation, data modeling & data visualization).

This role will implement additional data models (star schema) and support continuous improvement for the existing Azure cloud data platform for data analytics & BI reporting using SQL Server Reporting Services and Power BI Reporting Tool. The developer is responsible for the Analysis of the customer business requirement to develop technical specifications, combine data analytics and technical expertise to create BI solutions for stakeholders that communicate critical insights to the business, development of Data and Business Intelligence solutions related to client

projects. This role will also participate in activities that are directed at the overall growth of the Business Intelligence & Modern Data Platforms Practice within ZOLL.

Essential Functions

• Manage end-to-end BI lifecycle from Business Analysis, Requirement Gathering,
• Develop Datasets to developing BI reports.
• Take leadership of the task assigned and serves as the main point of contact for vendors, core project team members, and stakeholders.
• Architect, develop, and deploy Business Intelligence / Visualization platforms using modern analytics stacks such as Microsoft Power BI and Power Platforms (PowerApps etc.).
• Cooperate with other team members in the design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation of best-practices of BI solutions.
• Evaluate/Troubleshoot system performance and make technical recommendations to resolve any performance issues related to SSRS, ETL, creating SSIS packages, deploying SSIS Packages, Power BI Gateways, Power BI Report Refreshes and BI solutions.
• Assist with BI-specific training to users & Stakeholder on best practices of Power BI and Master Data Services.
• Follow Teams Azure Devops Agile/Scrum/Sprints to work as an Agile Team to collaborate, set priorities of business stakeholders, for accountability and to perform at full capacity

Required/Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related fields, or equivalent experience required
• 4-6 years Mid-Senor level, experience in working with MS SQL database using

  SSIS, SSRS, and SSDT for Visual Studio and related tools required

• 1-3 years Experience in Data modeling using Star-Schema Working knowledge of using Azure tools

  and services (Data Lake, Data Factory, Azure Databricks, and Azure SQL). required

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in Power BI, Power BI Report Server (On-Prem), and SSRS as Reporting Tools.
• Familiar with MS Power Platforms (Power Apps/Dataflows).
