Business Intelligence Developer / Analyst

Position Summary
In this role you'll develop and support the Business Intelligence applications, following Banner's standard software development life cycle practices, and you'll also support existing applications. We'll count on your detail-oriented and organizational talents as you work both independently as well as part of a team. This position is for a highly motivated and self-directed individual who can take ownership of this process.
This is a full-time permanent position based at our corporate headquarters, located at Highways 55 and 169 in Plymouth.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design, develop, implement, and maintain reports, dashboards and view using QlikView and Qlik Sense
- Create documentation of program development that describes input, output and logical operations as defined by Banner's standards; you'll also contribute to instructional, training, or operational manuals when needed
- Support existing applications to correct errors and to improve application performance
- Make recommendations on the architecture, upgrades and other items concerning the application environment; you'll also recommend coding standards and application design
- Develop and implement unit and functional test plans
- Conduct test runs of programs and software applications
- Consult with business analysts, engineers, customers, programmers, managers, and others to design accurate, visually engaging, and actionable reports and dashboards; you'll also work with them to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, timeline, cost constraints and performance requirements
- Provide the business with data-driven insights
- Provide training as needed
- Provide support on an as-needed basis, including on-call support

Required
- Associates degree (Bachelor's degree preferred) in Computer Science or other related field
Preferred Experience and Knowledge
- Business Intelligence platforms, preferably QlikView or Qlik Sense
- Current knowledge in this emerging industry, and process best practices and technology enablers
- Understanding of software development and maintenance lifecycles
- Knowledge of underlying database structures, including schemas, database objects, file system structure, tables, views, packages, procedures, functions, triggers, sequences, indexes, and constraints
- Demonstrated cross-functional teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Oracle EBS
- Relational databases and SQL
