Business Intelligence Developer (Finance)
Job Description
We are open to this role being 100% remote, but preference will be given to individuals in the Salt Lake Metro area. Unfortunately, Henry Schein One is unable to hire individuals residing in North Dakota, Hawaii, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, Puerto Rico, or other US Territories at this time. This role is a W2 role and will not consider C2C candidates.
Job Summary
In this position, you will provide valuable insights to the business. You will be responsible for collecting requirements, performing analysis, and building dashboards and visualizations for the Corporate Finance team.
What You Will Do
- Work closely with finance leaders to identify opportunities for analysis that will help business leaders make data-driven decisions
- Perform data analysis and create business intelligence (BI), including: reports, dashboards, and other visualizations
- Help define the standards, processes and business logic to be used in business intelligence for these departments
- Maintain documentation on the content above along with processes and business logic
- Collaborate with the business intelligence, finance, and business systems teams to ensure accurate and consistent Business Intelligence
Travel/Physical Demands
- Typically less than 10% with no special physical demands required
What You Will Have
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent working experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in financial data analysis
- Understanding of data - how it can be used to drive decisions, how it can be combined with other data and presented in a meaningful way
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Ability to tell a story with data
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills to work with business stakeholders
Nice to Haves
- Domo experience
- Domo certifications
- Knowledge of Python or R
- Understanding of finance and accounting principles
- Experience in an Agile Scrum environment
The posted range for this position is $69,950 - $110,000 which is the expected starting base salary range for an employee who is new to the role to fully proficient in the role. Many factors go into determining employee pay within the posted range including prior experience, current skills, location/labor market, internal equity, etc. This position is eligible for up to a 10% bonus not reflected in the posted range.
