Job Description

Summary
This role requires the ability to apply intermediate level of subject matter knowledge within the BI space to solve a variety of common business issues. Works on tasks of moderately complex scope. Utilizes professional concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters to determine appropriate action. Develops expertise and practical knowledge of applications within business environment. Acts as an informed team member by providing information, analysis, and recommendations in support of team efforts. Evaluates unique circumstances and makes recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
1+ years related experience and/or training
Other Information
2 or more years of database experience writing code such as, but not limited to: SQL, TSQL, stored procedures, SSIS. Experience extracting, transforming and loading data. Basic understanding of modern software development methodologies (Agile, DevOps), and source control (Git). Understanding of basic database administration. Good verbal and written communication skills.

- Participates as a member of an engineering team.
- Performs intermediate analysis of business requirements.
- Builds solution designs and presents within team review sessions.
- Develops, maintains, enhances existing code.
- Participates in code reviews.
- Prepares and executes unit tests.
- Applies appropriate technologies to solutions of moderate complexity.
