What's the Opportunity:
As a Business Intelligence Intern at Quantum Workplace, you’ll play a vital role in surfacing and transforming data into actionable insights that support our strategic decision-making processes. You’ll work with key leaders from across the business to understand their business challenges and bring a data-informed lens to offering analysis and solutions. You’ll build dashboards that deliver analysis on an ongoing basis that helps teams stay on track towards our mission of making work better every day for our customers & their employees and our company growth objectives.
This is a summer internship lasting 10 weeks starting in June, located onsite in Omaha, NE.
You can expect to work 30 hours per week, between the hours of 9am - 2pm. The starting wage is $16/hour.
You Will:
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to business performance.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of BI dashboards and reports.
- Participate in the data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing for analysis.
- Support the implementation of data analytics projects and initiatives.
- Collaborate with team members to understand data requirements and deliver accurate insights.
- Contribute to the improvement of data governance and quality.
- Present findings and recommendations to the leadership team and relevant stakeholders.
- Participate in regular team meetings and provide input on business intelligence strategies.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to analyze complex data.
- Proficiency in BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) and Microsoft Excel preferred.
- Basic understanding of data management and SQL preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A keen interest in technology, data analysis, and business strategy.
