Business Intelligence Intern - ARR (April--October)

Imprivata is looking for 2 smart and motivated Business Analytics interns for a six-month internship starting April. The interns will be supporting the Imprivata Business Intelligence team on a special project related to SaaS analytics and reporting. The interns will help with data QA, data cleansing and data transformation for our Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) data model. Work will also include helping to streamline current reporting processes, as well as building dashboards to track ARR metrics and other company KPIs.

Location: Preference for someone located in the EST or CST zones
Responsibilities:

• Perform data QA and data updates for a major ARR data model clean-up project (related to historic customer sales, contracts, and subscriptions)
• Transform and prepare data in Excel
• Get familiarized with existing financial datasets and models, and help with needed enhancements
• Help build dashboards (in Salesforce, Salesforce CRM Analytics, or Tableau) that allow Imprivata business teams to track ARR and other SaaS metrics
• Support key business stakeholders at Imprivata with additional data analysis and reporting requests

Qualifications:

• Graduated from a Business Analytics, Finance, Mathematics, or other related program
• Excellent quantitative skills - demonstrated proficiency with analyzing, summarizing, and presenting complex data in a clear and compelling manner
• Strong business acumen - interest in understanding business issues and developing data solutions for business needs
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus
• Familiarity with any programming language is a plus
• Works well in a team environment
• Eager to take on new challenges and opportunities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
