POSITION:
We are seeking a Business Intelligence Lead to drive the performance of our Revenue and Go-To-Market analytics function. As a player-coach they will empower, develop, and mentor a team of analysts and play a hands-on role in building solutions that unlock key insights for our revenue teams. Over time this person will be counted on as a trusted thought partner for leadership to continually analyze business performance trends, identify opportunities to enhance our GTM strategy and assist in forecasting potential outcomes. They will become an expert on how data is captured, stored, structured within our business systems and develop strategies for managing data that is critical for business reporting. The ideal candidate will blend business acumen with a passion for finding better ways of doing things through data to solve business challenges.
YOUR DAY TO DAY:
- Team Management: Lead, coach and mentor a team of analysts. Positively challenge team members to grow their skillset and advance their career goals.
- Empower team members to partner with stakeholders to enhance visibility and understanding of revenue funnel KPIs.
- Strategic Thought Partnership: Partner with leaders at all levels of our Go-To-Market teams (marketing, sales, customer success) to understand their objectives and KPIs required to support them.
- Define metrics to evaluate the progress of our GTM efforts in partnership with leaders in our revenue teams.
- Support decision making by evaluating their potential impact through scenario analysis
- Hands-On Insight Creation: Independently generate dashboards and cards within Domo that track OKRs and KPIs.
- Utilize Domo to create data sets that aggregate data from different sources with the goal of creating a full picture of the health and engagement of our client base.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis of key trends and themes that impact the growth & success of our revenue funnel.
- Data Management: Examine existing processes and make recommendations to better enhance PI’s data structure, hygiene, and health across multiple systems.
- Partner with our team of BI Analysts and Data Engineers to create a unified and integrated view of our organization’s data that is aligned with our objectives and goals.
- Define and evolve cohort classification and assess how well lead generation, user sign-ups, product releases, onboarding programs, and other initiatives are impacting cohorts over time.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- 6-8 years experience working as an Analyst or comparative role where data was used to facilitate business decisions. Prior experience in marketing/revenue analytics, management consulting, investment banking, finance, or sales operations is a plus.
- Experience managing, mentoring, or coaching team members is highly desired.
- Comfortable working with complex data sets, data transformation, and building data visualization within Business Intelligence platforms like Wave, Tableau, Domo or Excel.
- Comfortable presenting data visually that is informative, insightful, and easy to understand.
- Strong analytical skills: Ability to collect, organize, and analyze data; summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations.
- Self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive and able to prioritize multiple projects involving various end-users by meeting deadlines and proactively communicating status updates.
- Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization, from end-users to Senior Management
