What You’ll Be Doing
We are looking for a Business Intelligence Manager to help drive business strategy by synthesizing performance metrics into actionable insights across key product categories and marketing channels. The position sits within our eCommerce team but works on projects spanning the entire organization (from product insights to business insights to multi-channel marketing optimization). You will use your innate curiosity & data manipulation know-how to dig into business dynamics and surface insights that materially impact our performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business reporting acumen for the organization
- Individual will be an expert in understanding how the numbers come together and can articulate the data clearly and concisely.
- System Data Integration for reporting and business understanding
- Lead the technical requirements of what is necessary to connect all systems within the organization to a common place to clarify understanding of how the business is performing and how customer data show be used
- Reporting of Conversion Rate optimization on the E-commerce site
- Individual will work with User Experience to maximize opportunity on the E-commerce website. A/b Testing is critical to driving revenue, this individual will work with the Conversion Rate Optimization team to map out testing opportunities and report on their success, failure, and contribution
- Lead Business Intelligence strategy for the company allowing for continued growth and opportunity
- individual will be at the forefront of making the organization a data-centric company. By keeping abreast of current data trends, tools, and tactics they will formulate and execute recommendations that drive the business
Qualifications
- Degree in Data Science, Marketing, Programming, Statistics, Economics, Finance
- 5-10 years of Business Intelligence experience
- Background in Retail and/or eCommerce
Hard skills
- Experience with: Tableau, Power BI, Magento, Google Analytics
- Expert level understanding of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
- Strong analytical/quantitative skills and ability to synthesize findings into tangible actions that drive business outcomes
