Business Intelligence Manager, North America

Job Description:

This is a hybrid role requiring up to 3 days a week onsite at our Newark, NJ office location.

The Business Intelligence Manager, North America is a critical member of the Human Intelligence Team, responsible for driving information-based business decisions by providing comprehensive data, actionable insights, and thoughtful recommendations.

This individual will utilize corporate tools and multiple data providers to build a cohesive data strategy for Mars Wrigley U.S., establish a scalable method of data distribution, and support the overall data strategy. This position requires a strong background in data analysis to develop insights about the confectionery category, aiding in the formulation of key beliefs, driving business growth, and proactively identifying trends and opportunities. Collaboration with Marketing, Sales, Category, Finance, and other functional teams within Mars Wrigley is essential.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree
• 3-5 years of experience working with consumer-based datasets (e.g. Nielsen, IRI, Circana, Kantar) with strong analytical skills and the proven ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Partner with functional teams to develop a market data strategy and scalable data activation / democratization.
• Utilize multiple data sources to gain a full understanding of the market, resulting in clear and concise summaries of trends.
• Deliver value-added insights to ad hoc business questions.
• Drive business results through analytics by uncovering and providing market, brand, channel, and consumer trends that develop strategic action plans.
• Support business performance management and reporting for Senior Management Teams and Business Management Teams.
• Support advanced analytics projects, managing analysis of findings, including category forecast and drivers of performance.
• Support team on Syndicated Data Strategy, including Syndicated Data tender and database implementations.
• Manage the local relationship with key data providers; Nielsen and others; ensuring maintenance of a culture of collaboration and mutual respect while prioritizing data integrity and coverage.
