The Business Intelligence Manager is responsible for the leadership of the sales operation analytics team. The manager will be responsible for developing BI solutions using various statistical methodologies with the objective of increasing efficiency and profitability. This critical role involves utilizing data-driven insights to drive strategic decisions, optimize sales processes, and enhance overall sales performance. The ideal candidate possesses a strong blend of analytical expertise, sales operations acumen, and leadership skills to transform raw data into actionable business strategies.

BI Manager Duties• Provides strategic and tactical recommendations to leadership resulting from appropriate analytics which will empower managers to make better decisions based on data.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret sales-related data, including revenue, pipeline, win/loss rates, territory performance, and customer behavior.• Lead the development of the sales operations business intelligence strategy, outlining the tools, methodologies, and processes required to deliver actionable insights.• Identify trends, patterns, and opportunities in sales data to support strategic decision-making and enhance sales effectiveness.• Partner with Sales Leadership to identify process bottlenecks and inefficiencies, using data insights to propose and implement process improvements.• Leverage predictive analytics to provide early visibility into potential revenue outcomes and highlight areas for proactive intervention.• Create financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.• Collaborate with global CRM and technology teams to ensure accurate data collection, integration, and alignment with business intelligence goals.• Maintains effective communication with all operating and staff organizations to ensure that the business needs are met.• Work with the appropriate cross-functional team members to establish metrics and scorecards in support of key business objectives.• Provide ad-hoc analysis, reporting and data interpretation to key internal customers as necessary.• Performs analysis and prepares forecasts and recommendations in the areas of product preferences, sales coverage, market size, penetration, marketing practices and sales trends.• Support annual budget and monthly forecast processes, incorporating actual results, current trends, and future strategies.• Develop business modeling tools, ROI calculations and campaign effectiveness analysis.• Recommends and implements techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, cut costs, take advantage of opportunities, and maintain state-of-the-art Sales analytics practices.• Evaluate current business practices and make recommendations for process improvements.• Provide mentorship, guidance, and training to team members to enhance their analytical and technical skills.• Develops/builds positive business relationships with customers (internal and external) on a daily basis.• Conducts the Performance review process for each supervised employee and selects, develops, and motivates qualified staff to effectively carry out department functions and provide for the continuity of managerial and specialized skills.• Ensures that proper regulatory procedures and work instructions are in effect and are being followed by all direct reports and remains current on policies and procedures.

Education:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent from an accredited college or technical school; 5 to 7 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience• MBA preferred

Years and Type of Experience:• Sales, Marketing, Business analysis and planning experience preferred• Experience in business planning and project management• Experience in departmental administration and supervision of other employees and project management

Key Required Skills, Knowledge and Capabilities:• Proficiency in analyzing large datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies, and deriving meaningful insights from complex data.• Ability to interpret data to provide actionable recommendations for optimizing sales strategies and processes.• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create interactive dashboards and reports that convey insights effectively.• Familiarity with advanced analytics tools such as Python, R, or SQL for data manipulation, statistical analysis, and modeling.• Understanding of sales processes, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs), such as pipeline conversion rates, win/loss ratios, and revenue forecasting.• Knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and their data structures to ensure accurate data collection and reporting.• Strong leadership skills to manage and guide a team of business analysts, and BI specialists.• Ability to mentor team members, foster their professional growth, and ensure they deliver high-quality insights.• Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical findings in a clear and concise manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.• Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Finance, and Marketing, to understand their needs and align on goals.• Ability to think strategically and translate data insights into actionable strategies that drive sales growth and operational improvements.• Experience with predictive analytics and forecasting models to provide visibility into potential revenue outcomes.• Understanding of data governance principles to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security.• Comfort with working with databases, data warehouses, and ETL processes for data extraction, transformation, and loading.• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues related to data pipelines and reporting tools.• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills to identify challenges, develop hypotheses, and design analytical approaches to address business questions.• Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business intelligence, analytics, and sales operations.

The base salary and variable compensation for this remote role is between $140,000 - $185,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location
