As the Business Intelligence Programmer Analyst, you will support the growing business intelligence and analytics COE team within the IT department. You will lead reporting, BI, and analytics best practices across the enterprise as well as providing BI and reporting solutions that address key business needs. You will also work closely with the ETL and data warehousing team within the IT information management office to support business units throughout the enterprise. Additionally you will:

• Help drive adoption of enterprise BI tools and foster an environment of self-service analytics
• Support BI Tools through communication, training, and assistance with issue resolution
• Formulating business requirements for BI tools
• Designing, developing and maintaining business intelligence solutions
• Writing and executing queries for data extracts
• Evaluate and improve existing BI processes and systems
• Collaborate with other teams to integrate systems
• Develop visualizations and reports for requested projects
• Assist in data policies and procedures for data governance

What You'll Need to be Successful:

• At least 4 years of experience in BI reporting and analytics
• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, mathematics, or related field
• Experience in data modeling, SQL query development, data preparation, and data warehousing/marting principles
• A keen eye for process development and improvement, technical solutioning, and effectively capturing business requirements
• Experience with an enterprise BI or reporting platform such as Cognos, Tableau, Business Objects, PowerBI, or Microsoft SSRS (Tableau or Cognos required)
• Significant SQL experience, preferably Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server
• Knowledge of database management systems and ETL framework
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled collaborator with ability to capture business requirements for technical solutions

Great Additional Skills:

• Experience with financial or insurance companies
• Knowledge of MotioCI for change and release management
• Knowledge of Cognos Dynamic Cubes and Framework Manager
