Business Intelligence Team Lead

As the Business Intelligence Team Lead, you will be instrumental in driving data-driven decision-making across our BI Product & Operational Teams. By collaborating closely with various departments, you will understand their unique business needs, align strategies with organizational goals and empower teams to leverage data effectively.

As a Business Intelligence Team Lead you will:

• Cultivate strong relationships with departments and stakeholders, understanding their daily operations and strategic objectives;
• Lead the BI product verticals along with its corresponding ops teams to deliver functional and user-friendly data products that enable business departments to make informed decisions;
• Develop growth plans for team members and create yearly roadmaps aligned with Kaizen's strategic objectives;
• Take ownership of team priorities, deliverables and planning on a frequent basis;
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert across multiple streams, providing a holistic view of business priorities, needs and strategic goals;
• Foster an agile working environment, ensuring adaptability to changing priorities while meeting yearly objectives;
• Challenge existing metrics and KPIs, collaborating with the team to develop new ones that drive business growth;
• Advocate for a robust data-driven culture within the organization.

What you’ll bring

• BSc & Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, economics);
• Strong experience in a similar leadership role, while exhibiting exceptional team management skills, with the ability to set priorities in an ever changing environment;
• Experience in the gaming industry will be considered a strong plus;
• Strategic mindset with the capacity to engage effectively with senior stakeholders;
• Advanced technical proficiency in SQL, Python, Databricks and visualization tools;
• Strong communication and presentation skills;
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and translating business needs into technical requirements;
• Familiarity with agile methodologies will be considered a plus.
