About the Role

We are looking for a Business and IT Assurance Advisor to play an integral role in supporting the success of the GreenSky business and Technology teams by providing a variety of project, administrative, operational and advisory services to the GreenSky business. The Assurance Advisor will work with our GreenSky leadership, Operations, Credit Strategy, Accounting and Information Technology teams throughout the year.

The successful candidate will advise, coordinate, execute, and deliver work products on behalf of the GreenSky teams. The candidate will have the ability to proactively anticipate and manage challenges, be a self-starter with strong abilities to manage multiple responsibilities, prioritize appropriately, and work efficiently.

  • Manage with Tech Risk, the QSAT and RCSA process related to facilitating program, educating system and control owners on evidence, and track progress to meet GS deadlines
  • Participate in GreenSky internal audits to advise and assist management with potential finding research and timely development of management action plans (MAPS)
  • Advise, monitor, and track internal audit findings and MAPs through to remediation
  • Assist management in development of procedures for key business and IT processes that align to other Division standards
  • Work as primary point of contact to the teams, prioritizing requests and inquiries for second line groups such as Compliance, Legal and Controllers where necessary
  • Where permitted, inventory key controls against like business line processes to assess the maturity of controls ahead of future internal audits
  • Ability to work within multiple work streams to accomplish independence related tasks at any given time
  • Communicate effectively, addressing questions or issues promptly and professionally
  • Build positive and productive relationships with second- and third-line departments
  • Conduct research as directed
  • On a regular basis, manage sensitive and confidential information appropriately and with a high level of discretion

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Demonstrated business, IT and consumer compliance acumen
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Advanced Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with knowledge of proper grammar, punctuation and spelling
  • Attentive listener and ability to use tact and diplomacy in all communications
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and interact at all levels, managing both up and down. Communicates with a positive, "can-do" attitude and professional demeanor
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated. Able to work independently and collaborate as part of a team to achieve business goals
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to embrace ongoing change in tasks and environment
  • Detail-oriented and quality conscious.
