Business Management
The Business Management job is responsible for providing strategic advice for the assigned business area. While focusing on the highest level projects, this job executes strategic business management consulting by analyzing metrics and presentations to support business strategies, driving business management policies and routines, and being the central point of contact for leaders in the execution of business management tasks. This job is a recognized master in the Business Management area.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Acts as a technical/functional master in assigned area and makes decisions on tactical issues that impact the business.
- Oversees the implementation of policies and procedures in support of the business area strategy.
- Drives process improvements in assigned business area.
- Analyzes and reports to senior management on area data (financial, headcount, etc.) and performance metrics.
- Oversees business management projects by monitoring and tracking risks, issues and action items.
- Drives and oversees meeting planning in support of business projects and objectives.
- Influences the development of new strategic initiatives through tracking budgets and milestones.

Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years' experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
Preferred Qualifications:
- 7+ years' experience in financial management, business planning, operations management, strategy, project management, human resources, or business-related roles
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field (e.g., Liberal Arts, Business Administration, Management, Computer Science, Finance)
- Advanced Microsoft 365 skills. Particularly proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Power platforms.
- Proven capabilities to drive positive business results through cross-group collaboration and partnerships
- Work independently to balance multiple tasks and competing priorities simultaneously
- Experience working in strategic risk management, legal/compliance, regulatory and/or audit business areas
- Experience in building tools to streamline processes and increase efficiencies
- Ability to identify and eliminate obstacles before they become a problem
- Critical thinking, attention to detail and resolution in sometimes ambiguous situations
- Experience leading complex, cross functional projects including setting scope, reaching consensus, execution, and presenting results
- Drives adoption of best practices and champions process improvement
- Experience in proactively identifying process challenges and driving improvements
- Partners closely with Finance, HR, Communications, Facilities and other support functions
- Experience with leading strategic space planning and business continuity
- Proven to lead an effective strategy for employee culture activities

Base Pay Range: $120,000/yr. - $193,700/yr.
Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. In addition to base salary, the competitive compensation package may include, depending on the role, participation in an incentive program linked to performance (for example, annual discretionary incentive programs, non-annual sales incentive plans, or other non-annual incentive plans).
