Position Summary
This role is key to the success of Buckman's digital strategy. The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, process minded, digitally/tech savvy, a strong collaborator, and a good project manager.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for the tactical aspects of daily business management and processes (from sales to procure to pay)
- Work with SAP/ERP system and be responsible for financial data accuracy and validity across Buckman digital systems
- Work in all aspects of the business from Finance to ERP, Operations, and overall administration for the business
- Work Closely with the Digital Team for scale up to drive automation
- Work on building business governance for digital water, processes, and procedures from a business and admin standpoint for building structure and framework for scaling and training new associates
- Responsible for Accounting and Invoicing: examples include governance and oversight ensuring compliance with financial regulations and policies; asset management and depreciation; process invoices, purchase orders, and expenses in a timely and accurate manner (Subscriptions, Equipment and chemicals)
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports (e.g., customer profitability)
- Master data management
- Manage and oversee all transactions and movements between SAP and Buckman Digital platform and trouble shoot problems as they arise
- Management of suppliers and vendors (pricing accuracy, payment terms etc)
- Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and policies (SDS, labelling)
- Coordinate and track orders, shipments, and deliveries
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration from four-year college or university
- MBA/Master's degree in a business field preferred
- Entrepreneurial minded person, agile, and can manage multiple assignments and related pressure
- Strong project management skills and execution excellence mindset
- Strong collaborator internally and externally with customers/suppliers
- Business savvy and well versed in financial management and operations
- 10+ years of experience
