Job Description
Business Manager: NEMA Low Voltage Motor Control Centers
The Business Manager is responsible for the leadership and general management of the NEMA LVMCC Business. This includes responsibility for the development and execution of the business, portfolio and product development strategies. In addition, this critical position will be accountable for driving global sales growth, cross functional collaboration across all support functions, and the bottom line profitability of the business.
This role will lead and support Global Sales & Marketing's organization in the development and implementation of key programs in support of product line objectives (e.g. global promotion programs, pre-sales & post-sales collateral, target account programs, trade shows, etc.) They are also responsible for product line global P&L.
Information Processing Capability
- Develops a 3-5 year strategic plan for the business, driving long-term growth and performance
- Leads global market development, business process execution, people development and financial performance
- Determines key product development and innovation plans. Optimizes the product's market position and profitability in line with Rockwell Automation's growth and performance strategy
- Manages product life cycle; leverages technology to drive innovation, the development of new products, launch, and elegant migration of end of life products
- Responsible for P&L; which mandates overall accountability for manufacturing, quality, sales, product costs, margins, expenses and overall assets employed by the LVMCC business
- Executes strategy, leveraging multiple internal, external, direct and indirect relationships

Accepts Role Requirements:
- Meets or exceeds annual operating plan
- Presents to senior executives on business strategy and product development plans
- Passionate about leading and developing teams; track record of developing and promoting key talent
- Global travel ranging of approximately 10-15%
- Ability to operate, respond, work in multiple time zones as required
- Manages multiple stakeholders with varying priorities including development, manufacturing, sales, marketing, quality and third party partners, etc.
- Provide leadership for key employee initiatives including the employee engagement survey, culture of inclusion initiatives and ethics
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent work experience
- Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters of Business Administration or relevant advanced degree preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of eight years in either Product Management, Product Development, Commercial Marketing, Sales or a combination of these types of roles.
- Minimum of eight years working with global teams - Proven Leadership and Change Management experience in a globally focused environment.
- Minimum of five years working in a matrix environment - Proven ability to influence change and build effective partnerships in a matrix environment
- Experience working in a large global company with responsibility for both direct and indirect reports
- Commercial experience in sales or marketing
- Business Unit experience
