Evidation’s Business Manager, Operations & Scaling, in the Research and Insights business unit is responsible for key support functions that enable the scaling of study operations as Evidation refines a future-state delivery model. Responsibilities include: training program development, resource planning, pipeline tracking, infrastructure cost management initiatives, and establishment of information management hub.  

This role requires a broad range of skills, including, but not limited to conducting needs assessments, strategy development, exceptional organizational skills, project management, business process modeling, plus strong interpersonal skills including ability to communicate and manage well at different levels of the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and execute  a strategic training roadmap to enhance Research Operations’ capabilities
    • Conduct needs assessment
    • Coordinate and plan with functional leads and leverage internal resources and tools where possible
    • Proactively identify areas for streamlining delivery operations and work with necessary stakeholders to influence decisions and drive action
  • Identify strategies to operationalize, optimize, and streamline operations 
    • Ideate future state model and track progress towards it
    • Design and document end-to-end processes
  • Analyze and report on study pipeline information and resource needs 
    • Monitor opportunities in  CRM
    • Plan, track, and project study resource needs
  • Drive infrastructure cost management initiatives
    • Drive workstreams to develop futures state models with positive budget impact
    • Represent Research Operations in the evaluation, requirements gathering and implementation of new tools
  • Create and maintain business operations information management hub
    • Manage program-level  decision documentation (not study-level) 
    • Assure pull-through on lessons learned from studies e.g. interviews
    • Create single source of truth for preferred partners on studies
QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS
  • 5 years of operational business management experience in a healthcare or research setting
  • At least 2 years of direct experience devising or supporting training programs
  • Project management experience
  • Business analysis or reporting experience 
  • Experience driving initiatives in a matrixed environment 
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience developing and implementing new operational models
  • Excellent presentation skills from slide-building to speaking/presenting 
  • Knowledge of Google Productivity Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, etc)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with pharmaceutical, digital health, or healthcare projects/programs
  • Start-up experience with companies or large research programs
  • Exposure to the business elements of clinical research
  • Program management and/or project management certifications/ training
