Job Description

Outbrain is seeking a Manager of Business Marketing to cover the US market. ​​This is a unique opportunity for an experienced marketer to join our New York office. Reporting to the Marketing Director of US & EMEA, you will craft and execute a marketing plan in partnership with the other marketing departments, by aligning to the corporate marketing strategy and the Outbrain’s business objectives, executing locally to achieve KPIs and ensuring delivery of quarterly sales and growth targets. You will land and expand programs and support the broader marketing team by providing best practice sharing and feedback for constant improvement and innovation. In collaboration with the US sales organization, you will be the primary marketing leader for the US and leverage data to inform the strategy across inside sales, managed sales and partner teams. It will require building and nurturing relationships with the regional sales teams to over-communicate and gain alignment on marketing plans. You will also oversee the US business marketing team’s budget.


Role and Responsibilities:

  • Acting as a strategic business partner to our regional sales teams, the Business Marketing team accelerates pipeline and increases revenue through the creation and execution of a regional marketing strategy in alignment with business priorities and in partnership with the broader Marketing, Sales and Customer Success teams
  • Oversee and drive brand awareness, product offering adoption and business marketing plans to support revenue objectives of growing the existing base and acquiring new customers
  • Own strategy, development, and execution of targeted marketing programs that include demand generation campaigns/nurtures, field and industry events, webinars, PR, and more
  • Collaborate with global cross functional teams to ensure consistency across the Outbrain platforms
  • Work closely with local sales teams to support topline business goals.
  • Write and provide copy for all areas of Marketing (PR, Social and all other multi-channel) as well as supporting the internal teams with requested business communications
  • Manage relevant agencies and 3rd parties in the execution of programs
  • Work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, customer success, and other teams to develop and execute marketing programs
  • Track and measure all marketing programs and optimize resources against objectives and budget
  • Maintain an expert awareness of the market, staying up to date with technology, content marketing, competitor activity and marketing trends
  • Support Sales with key client pitches, sales collateral, decks, product marketing  and thought leadership


Skills & Experience:

  • A proven track record in managing B2B marketing organizations
  • Past experience delivering, accelerating and expanding sales pipeline through regional marketing
  • 2+ years experience in marketing and communications
  • Experience working in global teams a plus
  • Experience working in the Ad Tech industry and fast-paced environments
  • Experience building and executing field/geo-specific marketing plan(s)
  • Experience managing budgets 
  • Ability to measure, analyze, and improve marketing programs using data
  • Proven track records managing and executing events

The annual base pay range for this position is $75,000.00-$95,000.00. The actual amount offered may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. In addition to salary, you may be eligible for an equity package, as well as our competitive benefits and perks to support you and your family as part of Outbrain's total rewards package.
