Business Office Manager

Meadowview of Davenport, a new 106-unit senior living community in Davenport, Iowa, is hiring a detail-oriented Business Office Manager with bookkeeping and office administrative experience to manage the business office and reception area.

In this role, you will complete Accounts Payable, monthly rental billing and bi-weekly payroll. You will also work hands-on with the reception area to provide oversite. Our ideal candidate is passionate about working with the elderly, has the ability to multi-task, and is friendly and professional in all situations. Leadership experience is a plus! 

This is a Full-Time, benefit eligible position.

Business Office Manager responsibilities:

• Complete monthly rental billing and bi-weekly payroll.
• Supervise front desk reception area/ staff.
• Process documents for new hires and lead new employee orientation.
• Update resident rosters. 
• Complete office supply orders.
• Complete Accounts Payable.
• Respond to family inquiries regarding monthly statements.
• Perform additional tasks as requested.

Business Office Manager skills and requirements:

• 3+ years of recent administrative experience in a business office setting preferred.
• Prior Bookkeeping or financial experience is a plus.
• Office management experience is a plus.
• Experience working in a healthcare setting a plus.
• Familiarity with MS Word, Excel and Publisher.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
