Business Operations Associate

Galaxy Asset Management:

Galaxy Asset Management (“GAM”) is the funds business of Galaxy. GAM manages approximately $2.4 billion in assets for institutional and wealth clients across more than 15 different passive, active and venture strategies.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist the Global Head of Asset Management and Chief Operating Officer with support and execution of GAM’s business objectives and strategic initiatives
• Partner with the Head of Product Development on the ideation, design and launch of new asset management strategies
• Support GAM’s institutional partnerships globally by helping formulate a strategy across marketing, research, sales and product development with each of the business’s partners
• Drive the execution of strategic projects, including, but not limited to, competitive analysis, management presentations, business planning, internal cross-team updates, external market research
• Develop strategic presentations for both internal and external stakeholders
• Monitor industry trends and shares insightful reports and analyses with broader team and with senior executives

What We’re Looking For:

• At least 3-5 years of experience in crypto and/or financial services, ideally at institutional buy-side firm
• Keen interest in financial markets and cryptocurrencies
• Understanding of capital markets across a range of investment styles (passive, active and venture) and fund types (exchange traded products, hedge funds, venture funds)
• Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal) and an ability to synthesize complex ideas
• Disciplined organization and project management skills with the ability to multi-task quickly and efficiently
• Excellent critical thinking skills with a solutions-oriented mindset

The base salary ranges included below are for NY-based hires only and will be commensurate with candidate experience and expertise. Base salary ranges for candidates in other locations other than NY may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including geographic location as well as candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amounts listed below.
