Business Operations Associate, Merchant

The Business Operations Associate – Merchant is the main point of contact for our merchant resources and processes. The role will be responsible for ensuring the success of service level agreements (SLAs) and managing and improving our merchant onboarding and menu processes. The role will work with our merchant resources to ensure success in all relevant areas. 

What You'll Focus On:

• Own the maintenance and improvement of SLAs and quality metrics, reducing time to activation for both delivery and POS restaurant merchants. Work with team of BPO menu specialists to ensure adherence to SLAs and quality metrics.
• Lead and ensure success of the onboarding process from when a sales representative signs up a new merchant through their activation as a Chowbus delivery or POS partner.
• Work cross-functionally with our Sales and local teams to identify menu needs upfront and ensure the smooth implementation of menus on the Chowbus diner or POS app.
• Create, distribute, and present impactful and insightful reporting on onboarding performance.

What You Bring:

• 2-3 years of operational, supply chain, sales operations, or business development experience required
• One or more years of formal people leadership experience required
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin required
• Experience with a startup, consulting firm, or tech company highly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field highly preferred
• Experience in the restaurant and/or logistics industries preferred
• Experience managing outsourced vendors preferred
• Skilled and knowledgeable in CRM tools such as Salesforce required
• Strong customer support and service abilities required
• Strong organizational and project management skills required
• Ability to mentor, motivate, and hold others accountable required
• Ability to lead projects and processes with cross-functional teams required
• Strong understanding of sales and business processes required
• Working condition requires long periods of sitting and working in front of a computer
