In this high impact position, you will drive innovation, prioritization and execution of data infrastructure management and advanced analytics operations.  

You will define our data strategy and goals, ensuring they are closely aligned with departmental and organizational objectives. You will work extensively across business areas, supporting our world class teams of marketers, consultants, project/account/customer success/digital experience & product managers to drive rapid customer growth.  


What you’ll do

  • Provide leadership for vision, adoption and implementation of data analytics tools and practices. Develop an enterprise-wide view of data/analytics capabilities; identify gaps, and propose solutions.
  • Lead team in consulting with business partners to help establish efficient analytics and business intelligence tools, frameworks, and capabilities. Educate business leaders about self-service tools and provide support for teams as they stand up internal functions.
  • Build, partner, and consult with executive leadership to deliver analytical insights on Bloomreach’s product strategy and customer base. Ensure the Growth team is partnering effectively as consultants for business functions to drive growth and reduce churn. Balance data management strategy, governance, and quality to ensure consistency across teams.
  • Participate in the development of the department budget, including the identification of technology investments and budget allocation to support these tools (data warehousing, business intelligence, etc). Review expenses and ensure ROI is realized on BI tools.
  • Keep abreast of industry, market, and company trends. Ensure that Bloomreach’s use of analytics tools is scalable and sustainable. Serve as a thought leader of Bloomreach’s data & analytics family. Represent Bloomreach in external industry events and proactively form external relationships to bring in new ideas, technology, and talents.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics/operations
  • Proficiency in SQL, Amazon Redshift, R or Python, Looker
  • Strong customer orientation-- ability to set expectations and deliver against them
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills, ability to challenge senior stakeholders and drive innovative solutions
  • Strong project management and communication skills - proven track record working on a variety of projects, while demonstrating the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Solid experience with B2B SaaS and business fundamentals is a plus
  • Natural problem solver and change driver; intellectually curious and critical thinker, able to anticipate challenges and changes before they happen
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced technology-driven company and skilled at applying structure to an unstructured environment
  • Ideally has experience in the eCommerce space, including site merchandising, marketing, analytics
  • BA/BS degree

  • Stock options are granted depending on a team member’s role, seniority, and location.*
