Momentum is looking for innovative problem solvers to join our growing Business Operations team. We are looking for agile individuals who have a passion for organization and are looking for engaging challenges. The ability to story-tell and distill complex initiatives into compelling communications for specific audiences is critical for success.

The Business Operations team supports a wide range of initiatives that drive overall business impact. Our goal is to provide best-in-class support to our people by managing project plans, communication, and stakeholder relationships. Our team supports large projects across a wide variety of teams, so we are looking for individuals who can be adaptable and learn quickly.

General Description:

  • Support project scopes, timelines, and budgets in close collaboration with project teams; track and report on progress against schedules and budgets.
  • Tell a compelling story through building thoughtful presentations tailored for the audience
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date project timelines across all owned and supported projects
  • Collaborate with different teams to complete project tasks and keep timelines on track 
  • Escalate delay risks or project issues
  • Communicate project status updates to internal team members via weekly calls, emails, and in-person meetings
  • Works hand-in-hand with the wider Business Operations team to support larger business initiatives; ensure timely and accurate documentation and communication to the internal team
  • Participate in effective meetings to help establish objective and intended outcomes, proper participants and then creating an environment that delivers against the objectives
  • Develops strong and positive working relationships with other disciplines and project stakeholders; dedicated project coordinator, motivating project teams to excel, while supporting their various work streams to ensure adherence to objectives, process, and timelines

Skills & Experience Needed: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and MBA required – internship experience in related field is a plus
  • Exceptional communications skills in all form factors – verbal, written, presentations development, etc.
  • Analytical, accurate, detail-oriented, and a self-starter – able to meet deadlines and work successfully in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills – able to communicate and work effectively with stakeholders across multiple business functions
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong presentation skills with proficiency in either PowerPoint or Keynote
  • Demonstrates critical and strategic thinking skills and is solution-oriented and flexible in their approach
  • Comfortable with ambiguous, ever-changing situations
