A successful candidate for the Business & People Operations Intern will have the opportunity to propose and support a variety of initiatives to support Gas South’s strategic focus and employee elevation. You will work alongside our Human Resources & Community Affairs team as well as executive stakeholders. Creativity is encouraged as you join us in discussing the challenges our people and organization face and how to navigate them successfully and nimbly.
What you will be responsible for:
- Assist in preparing information and research materials to identify human resources and business opportunities, offer recommendations and assist management with implementation of solutions
- Assist in researching, designing and supporting employee engagement and leadership programs and events
- Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs within the organization
- Participate in department meetings and events
- Support enterprise strategic initiatives related to culture, organizational alignment, operational efficiency, and decision making.
Other Stuff we like:
- Rising undergraduate junior or senior or graduate student
- Pursuing degree in Business Management or Industrial & Organizational Psychology, preferred
- Solution-oriented
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with initiative and self-management as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with Microsoft Teams, Sharepoint, and related platforms, preferred
