Business Performance Analyst-REMOTE

The Performance Analyst will support the vision and strategy for data and performance analytics for Middle & Large Commercial reporting to the Head of Data & Analytics. They will help drive the analytic operational efficiency, accountability and execute on strategic initiatives. This analyst role work towards leveraging the power of tableau and other visualization assets to support the pursuit of Middle & Large Commercial's Data & Analytics Agenda.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Business Performance Analytics

• Advance suite of automation of key analytic and reporting tools across MLC
• Partner with Business Analytic Leads on key projects and business initiatives
• Perform analytical deep dives into leadership or Performance Analytics Lead identified topics, deriving insights and actionable recommendations to inform business decision making.
• Support Analytic Reporting Needs on Y-Risk Segment
• Garner feedback from business partners to refine and augment reporting tools.
• Advance MLC data currency, including the availability and accuracy of data.
• Oversee the consistency of metrics across data assets Salesforce, Viewpoint Quickglance, etc.

Business and Analytic Execution Implementation and Support

• Serving as an analyst to each business segment, identify, recommend, and execute on strategic initiatives resulting in revenue growth, increased profitability, operational efficiencies, etc.
• Managing the Analytic Request Intake and prioritization log
• Oversee the MLC Data & Reporting Tool
• Support the production of content and analytics for leadership meetings, strategy workshops and town halls.
• Partnering which MLC Training to driving the training agenda for the MLC data and reporting suite of tools
• Know the end-to-end sales, underwriting and service processes within various segment within Middle & Large Commercial.

Qualifications:

• Strategic mindset. Ability to design and execute on strategic roadmaps and frameworks.
• Project management skills. Able to concurrently move multiple initiatives forward and meet deadlines.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Advanced PowerPoint skills
• Analytical mindset to analyze data sets and derive business insights.
• Experience with data visualization. Partnering with the Tableau team, able to develop dashboards and tell stories using data.
• Excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
• Continuous Improvement Mindset
• 10% travel required

Compensation

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$70,160 - $105,240
