Process Business Consultant, #550


Clearance:  Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (Public Trust)

Dev Technology is looking for a new Business Process Consultant with a focus on creating an optimal business process solution across an entire government enterprise in the AWS cloud environment. This is an opportunity to create meaningful, lasting change for the entire organization. The ideal person will bring a breadth of technical knowledge as well as skills to help manage work through to completion. This is a role for someone who likes to work on multiple aspects of a solution, do some hands-on solutioning, communicate with leadership, manage a team of consultants, and can drive change in collaboration with our government customer. 

What You'll Be Doing 

The Business Process Consultant will work with program leadership in support of current and future business process solutions for our government client, with a specific focus on identifying an optimal solution for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) of multiple contracts supported by multiple contractors supporting a large government agency.  The successful candidate will enjoy providing guidance based on past experience and getting hands on with new tools to create proofs of concept. The most suitable candidates will be flexible and forward-thinking, and working hand-in-hand with the architects and consultants to design holistic solutions to achieve optimal results for the client.  


Required Education, Experience, and Skills:  

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 3+ years in a Business Process Consulting role
  • Experience with AWS-specific cloud environment
  • Ability to learn new tools quickly as needed to provide new ideas for solving problems
  • Ability and desire to conduct hands on solution development work to complete proofs of concept
  • Ability and desire to work with other program staff and customers to reach design decisions within given constraints
  • Excellent diplomacy and communication skills with both clients and technical staff

 

Preferred Education, Experience, and Skills: 

  • Experience planning, designing and developing solutioning plans in the cloud
  • Experience defining data strategy, technology standards, best practices and data governance processes
  • Experience working with federal government clients
