Cigna Supplemental Benefits Customer Service Operations team is seeking an energetic, collaborative, and solution driven Business Project Analyst. Seeking candidates who can quickly learn the relationships of our complex working environment, and how Customer Service Customer and Provider Inbound Call, Policy Holder Services, and Premium Accounting teams interact with one another.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Supports email queues and intake systems for questions and troubleshooting
  • Support maintenance of team's SharePoint sites and secured drives to include storing reports and documents
  • Make recommendations for system and process improvements
  • Complete BAT system testing and check outs
  • Review message point and correspondence letters for pass or fail verification
  • Mail merge requests for one-off requests and annual notices
  • Research and/or correct reports, data or requests
  • Work effectively and collaborate with other departments by demonstrating your networking capabilities
  • Other duties as required

Position Requirements:

  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years' experience in healthcare operations
  • Strong commitment to customer service and process improvement
  • Detail oriented and ability to produce high quality work
  • High energy with the ability to keep up with a fast-paced working environment
  • Working experience with LifePRO, OnBase, HealthX, and COBA eligibility process preferred
  • Experience with Excel, Outlook, SharePoint, and WebEx; SQL experience preferred
  • CSB experience preferred, but not required.

  • Act with a sense of urgency to research inquiries. Identify the right parties or resources to resolve these issues. Follow up with these parties to drive resolution and provide on-going feedback to individual(s) who raised the question or issue
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
  • Quick to learn new systems and workflows
  • Comfortable with raising questions, issues, ideas or suggestions to co-workers
  • High degree of integrity and accountability to deliver strong, high-quality outcomes
  • Time management and priority setting skills
  • Flexibility to work occasional weekends supporting system upgrades

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an hourly rate of 24 - 36 USD / hourly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
