Business Recruiter
Job Description
We’re looking for a business recruiter to scale our Go-to-Market, Operations, and Utility Solutions teams. Our current business priorities require us to enroll, retain, and shape the behavior of electric vehicle (EV) drivers in our utility clients’ programs, and the Business Recruiter at WeaveGrid will be essential in finding and attracting the best candidates for these core projects. This is a great opportunity to align diverse backgrounds across the utility, automotive, and tech sectors towards our core mission of driving rapid decarbonization at the intersection of transportation and energy.
You will collaborate with our Go-to-Market, Operations, and Utility Solutions teams where you will be asked to:
- Manage the candidate process end-to-end, including screening resumes, interviewing candidates, administering appropriate assessments, and performing reference checks
- Work closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to create reliable & diverse candidate pipelines
- Think strategically about how to optimize and scale our business recruiting function
- Use our modern recruiting stack (Greenhouse, Gem, LinkedIn)
- Ensure our business employment brand is visible and welcoming (job boards, events, etc)
- Assist with roles in Engineering and Product as needed
- Special projects and other duties as designated by the People Ops Lead or assigned designee
- You have 3+ years of industry experience in sales, corporate, or G&M recruiting
- You want to apply your talents to meaningfully address climate change
- You’ve had success building distributed teams in a scrappy/fast-growing environment
- You are confident in collaborating with and guiding director level stakeholders through the hiring process
- You have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate across all levels of the organization
- You are proficient with modern recruiting technologies
- You have experience with, or a strong interest in DE&I programs
