Business Services Associate

POSITION SUMMARY

Business Services Associate is responsible for the overall operations of the business office.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process all incoming/outgoing mail
• Creation of Certified Policies for Bind and Brokerage Divisions
• Complete Loss Run Requests for Bind and Brokerage Divisions
• Deliver Premium Audit Non-Compliance letters to producers/underwriters
• Electronic filing of all Bind documents emailed from brokers to Process Email Application
• Electronic filing of Premium Finance Notices for Bind Division
• Electronic filing of Inspections for Bind Division
• Electronic filing of policy support documents for Bind Division
• Perform Quality Control on Electronically filed documents
• Complete requests for Document Deletions
• Digitization of IFG Companies' legacy paper policies/documents

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Ability to sit/stand without interruption for periods up to 3 hours.
• Demonstrable commitment to quality: this work requires 100% accuracy.
• Motivated self-starter with excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Full computer literacy with 2 years' experience in a professional office environment, including intermediate Excel/Word/Outlook skills.
• Ability to work effectively as a member of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail
• Strong organizational, written, verbal and interpersonal skills

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands are considered to be that of an office environment, climate controlled, with minimal physical exertion. This position requires prolonged sitting, ability to utilize a computer and interactions with others in meetings or via phone.
