Business Services Specialist
Job Description
- Understand basic accounting principles and financial cause and effect of financial transactions
- Use multiple sources to produce, review, and revise monthly client invoices
- Identify, research, and audit plan balance discrepancies
- Process plan and participant level transactions from trust assets
- Billing entry, inventory audit, client realization analysis, special projects, and other ad hoc reporting
- Assist researching cash application issues
- Support team members and team goals
- Demonstrate commitment to teamwork and a positive attitude
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Billing and audit/reconciliation experience
- An understanding of fund details and assets a plus
- Accounts Payable experience a plus
- SharePoint experience a plus
- Must possess strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work with time-sensitive material and meet multiple deadlines
- Strong problem solving skills
- 10-key by touch
- Advanced in Excel
- Advanced in Access a plus
- Effective time management and multitasking skills
- Willing to work overtime
- Able to work independently while also contributing to team environment
