Position Purpose:

This position will be responsible for the analysis of current processes, identify process improvements and develop detailed business case solutions to support changes to Stericycle sustainability programs and systems, as well as provide data analysis for sustainability projects and customer sustainability reporting.

Key Job Activities:

• Create, maintain, and improve sustainability data pipelines, databases, and dashboards delivering solutions that enable decisions to be made.
• Support the reporting of environmental sustainability data by tracking trends, performing QA/QC to data, monitoring sustainability reporting agency reports, and suggesting adjustments to the current approach.
• Support the development of tools to report environmental sustainability data to customers and ad hoc data requests from customers.
• Work closely with key stakeholders to understand program needs and identify opportunities for environmental sustainability initiatives. Perform analysis of environmental impact of environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Cross-functional collaboration with all of the company's worldwide business areas, related to sustainability activities.
• Performs other related duties as required or requested.

Education:

Required Education: in Bachelors or Equivalent

Experience (North America):

• Education equivalent to bachelor's degree in Business, environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or other related discipline, or the equivalent in related work experience, demonstrating the ability to analyze and reengineer processes to make them more effective for the organization
• 2 or more years of business analysis experience in a medium to large size corporate environment or graduate school experience
• The ability to manage multiple projects
• MS Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) knowledge
• Must have advanced analytical skills; ability to synthesize data and formulate strategic recommendations
• Must have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Demonstrate the ability of having a global perspective
• Must be subject matter expert with a passion for improving sustainability impact
• Demonstrate strong business acumen and understanding long term outcomes
• Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills
