Major Duties
Responsible for supporting senior management in various business and/or corporate strategy projects, employee and industry development activities.
Digital Transformation
  • Focuses on automation using digitization to implement change management, with the aim to align people, process, and technology initiatives of Northern Trust to business unit strategy and vision.
  • Requires technical or other specific training or equivalent experience to support and innovate operating model changes on behalf of clients and partners.
  • Requires full proficiency gained through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience to perform a range of tasks. Takes a broad perspective to problems and spots new, less obvious solutions.
  • Completes work with limited degree of supervision. Likely to act as an informal resource for colleague with less experience

Data Analysis
  • Identifies key issues and patterns from partial/conflicting data
  • Analyzes industry trends, business performance, hiring data
  • Carries out cross-functional activities that are moderate in scope and technical complexity
  • Conducts preliminary analysis
  • Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas

Administrative Support
  • Assists senior management in creating strategic people plans, including communication plans
  • Assists with planning employee engagement events
  • Assists with creating presentations, reports, procedures
  • Responsible for direct interaction with different committees and/or management
  • Strategic in developing, implementing and administering programs within functional areas
  • Manage communication tool (SharePoint site) and disseminate communication to the business

  • A College or University degree and/or relevant proven work experience in financial analysis and project management is required
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
  • Moderate data analysis and pivot table knowledge within excel skills are required
  • Analytical and problem solving skills are required
  • Technical skills / strong Excel and Power Point knowledge and other Microsoft Office suite) are required
  • Strong process and project management skills are required
