BUSINESS SUPPORT ASSISTANT
The primary purpose of this position is to assist the Sales and Customer Experience teams through data management and analytics to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Follows Business Support Assistant processes and procedures, offers opportunities for improvement, as necessary.
- Customer specific record set up and maintenance with high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintains customer price lists with updates received from Procurement, Sales or by reviewing the Price Change System.
- Proactively maintain and send out price change notification letters both through the system and manually.
- Generate and distribute reports to Sales team members.
- Obtain and distribute SDS’s, Regulatory letters or Kosher certificates as requested by sales or customers.
- Collaborate with members of Procurement to ensure master data accuracy related to 3rd party supply agreements and any associated cost changes.
- Complete business analysis projects as assigned by Commercial Finance Manager.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
- This position reports to the Commercial Finance Manager.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent is required, college degree strongly preferred.
- Strong computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Suite required. Excellent written communication and phone etiquette required.
- Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize multiple tasks, and transfer verbal/written information to others accurately.
- Must be trustworthy, detail orientated and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
