We are currently seeking a Business Sys. Analysis Advisor to join our team in Province, Rhode Island (US-RI), United States (US).

The Business Analyst works with stakeholders from the business units to define and document business process and software requirements for a child welfare system. This position requires a critical thinker, self-starter, dependable quick learner with a strong understanding of Information Technology.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and manage projects and initiatives to meet the client's business needs
• Troubleshoot processes and resolve complex issues
• Perform analysis and consulting activities to help client meet business goals
• Work with other teams to facilitate the support process and work toward issue resolution

Duties:

• Analyze and design business solutions
• Document functional requirements
• Create visual designs
• Define business problems
• Document technical solution
• Develop test plans and perform testing
• Other duties as required

Required Skills:

• Minimum of Five years in a Business Analyst role
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or applicable work experience
• MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

• Ability to multi-task
• Minimum of 5 years using SQL Language

Desired/Plus Skills:

• Programming experience
• Experience with Child Welfare Systems
• Experience with Financial Systems
• GUI and IDE tools
• Experience with Saleforce
