Job Description

Overview:

As a Business Systems Analyst with business acumen and technical skills, you will partner with the Finance business community and the various internal/ external technical teams to deliver innovative solutions. We have Quote to cash, Procure to Pay and Service to Repair business processes implemented through Oracle EBS/ Oracle Fusion Cloud applications where you will own or support one or multiple areas - Account receivable, Advance collection, Revenue Management, Project accounting, Costing, GL and EPM. You will drive projects from Finance IT perspective to make sure industry standard processes/ solutions are followed by leveraging your functional and technical expertise.

Scope of Responsibilities / Expectations

• Work with Finance business partners to understand their requirements, develop and implement creative solutions in Oracle ebusiness suite and Oracle Fusion cloud applications

• Collaborate with cross-functional IT/Business teams (e.g. Application teams, Program Managers, IT partners (onsite/ offshore), QA, Third-party vendors) in North America, EMEA and India to understand business requirements, estimate efforts and design solutions specially in Oracle financial e-business suite & Oracle Cloud applications through Agile/ Devops process to deliver the solution or projects.

• Maintain a sense of urgency towards timelines and results. Meet commitments, work through challenges, and complete tasks on time and on budget

• Configure, Support and maintain Oracle Cloud Revenue management, Advanced collections, Receivables, EPM, Project Accounting, Costing, GL and design upstream/ downstream integrations with Oracle E business suite/ legacy applications

• Recommend, review and own the Functional/ technical solutions, evaluate short term or long term trade-offs based on business processes and make sure industry standard scalable solutions are implemented

• Create/maintain functional specification documents, review technical specification documents, oracle standard/ custom configurations documents, rollout strategies, end to end business flows, test scenarios and perform/ support end to end testing for business partners

Desired Skills/Qualifications:

• Experience in end-to-end Project implementation/devops in one or multiple Oracle financial areas ( RMCS, Account Receivables, Advance Collection, GL) is preferred. 

• Ability to build relationships, influence key decision-makers, and collaborate with a cross-functional team comprised of diverse personalities, skill sets, and levels of experience to deliver the assigned projects

• Excellent Interpersonal & communication skills, detail oriented and a self-starter

• Research new technologies and implement them to make business processes and interactions easier for users

• Ability to analyze problems, work across teams and recommend solutions

The desired candidate will be located in the Chicagoland area with access to travel into Chicago office as needed.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of demonstrated functional experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications or similar experience

• OR Master's degree and 2+ years of demonstrated functional experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications or similar experience

• OR 5+ years of demonstrated functional experience in Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications or similar experience
