Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Business Systems Analyst located in Bufalo Grove, IL.

Reporting to the Sr Information Technology Manager, the Business Systems Analyst role involves analyzing end-user requirements and/or architects, designs, and defines the automation for specific business processes, document the IT medical definitions and work with other teammates.

What a typical day looks like:

• Define required improvements on the systems, managing its proper implementation in order to meet customer requirements.
• Support customer application
• Analyze new requirements
• Write user functional and design specifications referencing the URS (user requirement specification).
• Write functional and technical specifications for developers.
• Use skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in a creative and cost-effective way
• Plan and schedule project deliverables, goals, milestones.
• Monitor project progress, timelines and budget constraints to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Verify newly developed processes
• Develop reports according to user requirements
• Work on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of multiple factors
• Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain qualified and motivated staff.
• Create test scenarios and run tests to find errors and confirm program meets specifications
• Test for intuitively and user experience.
• Troubleshoot and analyze codes to find causes of errors and revise programs.
• Write user functional and design specifications referencing the URS (user requirement specification).
• Write SIQ (software installation qualifications) documentation and/or execute it in test and production environments.
• Write verification protocols including all the test scenarios required and/or execute it documenting the process.
• Support deployments and defines potential code fixes required.
• Query data from relational and non-relational databases.
• Support applications for Buffalo Grove site.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field.
• Years of experience 1-3.
• Database SQL2016 (and above), Oracle, non-relational databases.
• Experience and general knowledge of computerized databases.
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Basic functional, technical and people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.
• Skills in functional/ technical area. Use of the following tools may be required: Office Skills: telephones, data entry, and office software to include word processing, spreadsheets, presentation package and database systems.
