Business Systems Analyst

NOV ISE Manufacturing & Supply Chain supports the requirements of the Wireline & Flowline, Pressure Performance & Cementing, and Coiled Tubing and Nitrogen Pumping groups with a global footprint in support of our client's requirements.

We're actively recruiting a Business Systems Analyst that will help to gather, analyze and report business systems-related data to improve EBITDA. We are in search for a talented and self-motivated candidate to assess every aspect of our daily business operations. For this position, the candidate will examine existing and new systems for improvement, report common issues, evaluate company performance, and recommend new system procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Analysis and improvement of the business processes to drive commercial benefits and customer satisfaction
• Mapping of business processes and recommendations of best business practice based upon the business requirements and commercial objectives
• Validate/test the business processes in a structured way
• Ensure continuous improvement through creating an outcome-focused environment of continuous improvement
• Working knowledge and application of business processes systems associated with manufacturing and supply chain
• Continually seek ways to improve the planning and purchasing processes by optimizing operations, by continually revisiting the master data, to achieve agreed key performance indicator targets
• Continually review all respective departmental procedures, practices and processes in order to achieve optimum levels of efficiency at all times
• Ability to create and maintain complex system generated reports (preferably using Cognos)
• Assists with the maintenance of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems data
• Training the end-user on the use of system/tools/reports written to improve manufacturing and supply chain planning and execution system related activities
• Ability to coordinate and execute multiple projects simultaneously with the capacity to work independently, coupled with the ability to plan and perform work with minimal direction and supervision
• Report common patterns, questions, and other issues to management
• Recommend solutions for improving and restructuring company procedures
• Assess company performance, information, and plans by conducting regular tests and analysis
• Monitor company systems status and report any progress or changes
• Take personal ownership of ensuring significant, sustainable business process improvement projects are undertaken which provide measurable positive financial impact
• Support the ISE Manufacturing sites to improve their existing processes and implement new procedures to drive improvements in efficiency, lead-time reduction and improvements to On-Time-Delivery
• Identifies opportunities to improve the quality and timeliness of data delivery
• Ensure all company policies, procedures are followed
• Travel when required both domestically and internationally in order to support the goals of the business or project

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in business, computer informations systems, industrial engineering or relevant field is preferred
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a related position preferred
• Demonstrated ability to deliver cost reduction and operational performance results

SKILLS, TRAINING, OR SPECIAL KNOWLEDGE

• Thorough understanding of manufacturing operations surrounding planning, scheduling, purchasing, and inventory control is preferred
• Able to provide clear and structured methodologies making things simple for others to understand and replicate
• Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

• Excellent attention to detail and follow-up
• Ability to troubleshoot independently and escalate issues in a timely and effective manner
