PayPal, Inc. seeks Business Systems Analyst 2 in Scottsdale, AZ

Job Duties: Develop a product, One Finance Integration (OFI), an optimized and one stop solution for the Accounting and Treasury Management System, by integrating the Payments, Vendor, Settlement & Cash data in one platform. Process PayPal's FBO bank accounts more efficiently by analyzing PayPal's 300 and more FBO bank account cash statements and optimize the process by moving the system into the Big Query cloud platform to reduce the cost and increase the performance of the system. Develop business mapping document to process the BAI2 cash files and load it to the tables and provide to the Engineering counterparts. Document the requirements by working cross-functionally with multiple teams on converting the different file formats (bank statements) received by PayPal from bank partners to the BAI2 (USA standard) file format. Manage Cash Projection product, projecting the cash for the future dates based on daily payments transactional data for each PayPal FBO bank account for the Treasury team. Analyze settlement contracts for PayPal Bank partners and reach out to business when contract requirements are not met. Develop a settlement date matrix for various accounts associated with PayPal to determine the cash positioning for the respective accounts based on daily payment transactions. Analyze the volume of payments data and cash data from different bank accounts to calculate the variance between the volume of the clearing payments data and the volume of the settled cash data based on the currency of the transaction and the processor involved.

Job Description:

Minimum Requirements: Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Analytics, or a closely related field plus two years of experience in the job offered, as a business systems analyst, or a related occupation.

Special Skill Requirements:

1.Google Big Query to develop SQL scripts to generate General Ledger comparison report between current Production system and future OFI platform.

2.Hive SQL to pull data archived to perform trend analysis on the cash data.

3.SAP HANA Database to develop SQL queries to analyze production cash data in the SAP system.

4. Informatica to analyze the automated scripts, workflows and scheduled jobs, for the production Cash domain in SAP system and develop similar tasks in Google BQ platform.

5. Product Management to develop Business mapping documents by gathering requirements from business, understanding the accounting needs, and providing the mapping documents to the engineering counterparts.

6.Data Analytics to analyze the cash data by consolidating the requirements gathered from business and accounting to develop the mapping documents.

7.Python to perform Text analytics on bank statements and generate cash rules for the Ledger mapping.

8.Oracle PL/SQL to add, update or delete the cash rules built in Oracle database.
