The Opportunity
The Business System Analyst enables business productivity by ensuring systems are operating effectively and by implementing improvements that provide value to the business. This position is responsible for providing technical support for business applications and is a member of a highly collaborative team that delivers technology solutions to Berkadia’s users and clients.
 What someone will need to be successful in this role
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications
- Experience with operations and support of application/software/cloud platforms built on/with Windows, .NET, IIS, along with Open-Source software
- Experience with internet-related technologies and languages such as FTP/SFTP, APIs, HTML, CSS, C#, .Net & web services
- Experience with troubleshooting issues in production, UAT, QA and development environments, applying debugging and problem-solving techniques (e.g., log analysis, non-invasive tests)
- Experience with test related tools such as Spira Plan, Rapise, Selenium, Test Café
- Strong experience with SQL for data analysis and maintenance and reporting
 Responsibilities:
- Implement, support, and upgrade internally developed business applications and commercial applications used by the organization
- Work with other IT teams to secure and upgrade the application infrastructure
- Provide system administration support by configuring applications to align with business requirements and IT standards
- Triage and resolve escalated request from business and other IT teams
- Gather business requirements by collaborating with various stakeholders and analyze customer needs
- Assist in the development and execution of test plans for systems
- Monitors system health metrics and triages system alerts
- Implement best practices to optimize system performance
- Work with clients and vendors to integrate data with internal and external systems
- Assist with the evaluation of new processes and technology tools to address customer and/or business unit needs or improve efficiencies
- Create and maintain support and technical documentation on a continuous basis
