Business Systems Analyst

VRI, a Modivcare service is looking for an experienced Business Systems Analyst. In this position, you will act as a liaison between the Development team and the users of technology company wide.
You will...

• Provide 24/7 on-call coverage as needed.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of company business processes, the information/data required and generated, and the computer application functionality required to make those business processes cost-effective and efficient.
• Act as a liaison between general users and technical resources by consulting with users to identify, define and document business needs and objectives, current operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements, and levels of systems access.
• Define and document business functions and processes. Identify opportunities for improving business processes through information systems and/or non-system driver changes; assists in the preparation of proposals to develop new systems and/or operational changes.
• Analyze the feasibility of, and develops functional requirements for, new systems and enhancements to existing systems; ensures the system design fits the needs of the users; elicits, analyzes & document customer's functional requirements.
• Work directly with Database Administrators and Software Developers to transform conceptual system designs into system architecture and detailed specifications in accordance with current design standards.
• Review conceptual system designs with all functional areas in all business units to ensure acceptance and consensus ensuring all user, customer, and legal requirements are met.
• Conduct technical and functional testing to ensure programming has been done in accordance with specifications.
• Develop user documentation and assists in the development of training material for new and existing applications.
• Provide technical assistance in training, mentoring, and coaching professional and technical staff.
• Maintain detailed knowledge of data, departments, and processes.
• Gauge the effectiveness and efficiency of existing systems; develop and implement strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems.
• Involvement in special projects as assigned.

We are excited to speak to someone with the following...

• Associates or bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field is a plus
• GED or High School Diploma is required
• At least 5-10 years of related software development experience is a plus
• Prior experience as a business or applications analyst or comparable experience required
• Be a technology advocate and helping to identify technical opportunities that will enhance the end-user experience
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to work and communicate with all levels of the organization
• Demonstrated experience with SQL required
• Demonstrated experience with Scrum/Agile a plus
• Analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems
• To work well within a team and highly collaborative environment
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Organization and planning skills with the ability to manage priorities and commitments in a productive manner

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000
