Job Description

Summary:

The Business Systems Analyst is a hands-on techno-functional role reporting to the Director of Enterprise Business Applications, responsible for providing a consultative approach and solutions to the stakeholders which includes understanding customers' business processes, pain points, requirements gathering, process evaluations, re-engineering, system design, prototype, configure, test, validate, document, train, sustain, and provide on-going support for systems such as Oracle Agile, Trackwise, Master control, SAP S4/HANA, SoX, Change Control, and many other applications.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a blend of technical and business acumen coupled with strong communication and influential skills and be seen as the trusted advisor for the business community where you will bring creative technology solutions forward to meet critical business needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed requirements gathering and analysis, configuration, development, implementation, and V&V of Agile PLM, QMS, and SAP S4/HANA systems using GIS processes, design control and change management processes.
  • Translate business requirements accurately into high-quality System requirement specifications, Process workflow diagrams, and design documents.
  • Act as an extension to the Quality and Regulatory functions and continue to gain a thorough understanding of the current 'As is' environment, Quality systems, processes, challenges/gaps, and new needs.
  • Maintain IT business systems integrity and application notes, system upgrades, patches, changes, and user updates
  • Responsible for the development of enhancements and implementations, debugging system-level code of business applications.
  • Identifying, supporting, and fixing systems, or custom program level bugs, and helping in stabilizing the process or tool.
  • Actively engage in the business transformation efforts by understanding the business vision and translating that to a supportable and efficient systems roadmap/implementation plan.
  • Be the IT SME and go-to person for the Quality organization in providing support related to SAP/QMS Quality and Agile PLM processes.
  • Provide support with standardizing, cleansing, mapping, translating, and migrating the data over from Agile PQM/123C to QMS
  • Provide support in enhancing/building/sustaining integrations and workflow processes with/between other systems like ServiceMax, SalesForce, Agile, SAP S4, Smartsheet, etc using tools like Talend, SAP CPI, REST/SOAP services etc.
  • Use Agile methodology to gather, prioritize, and deliver on agreed-upon requirements and timelines.
  • Drive and collaborate with cross-functional teams for Product evaluations and help businesses in making product selections.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and bring forward technology solution recommendations.
  • Ability to run the release management and drive timely communication on release status updates
  • Project manage small/medium initiatives which include but are not limited to planning, scoping, developing estimates, managing, and delivering the project within the agreed upon timeline and budget.
  • Perform periodic documentation updates/conduct refresher training to the super users on recent changes made
  • Roll out the changes/projects into the Production system following the IT Change Control processes and framework.

Qualifications:

a. Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or equivalent with at least 3 years of business systems analysis experience.
  • Working knowledge in designing/configuring/sustaining QMS systems like Trackwise, Master control, etc.
  • Knowledge of basic Java, SQL, and scripting language
  • Experience in the development and support of Process extensions using Agile SDK, Webservices, and configuring events.
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of Quality, Regulatory, document control, manufacturing, and engineering processes in a high-tech manufacturing company.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and/or SCRUM processes.
  • Adept in developing and maintaining relationships with global stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, influential, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Quick learner, highly motivated and driven to learn and adopt new technological skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on multiple projects at a time.
  • Desire to learn and stretch beyond current abilities and skillsets, with a proven history of growth in previous roles.
  • Experience with SoX, ITGC, Service Desk, and Change Control processes.

b. Preferred or Desired

  • Implementation experience with SAP, Master control DMS or QMS modules.
  • Working knowledge of SAP ERP Applications preferred.
  • Integration knowledge and PowerBI is preferred
  • Medical device experience preferred

Accuray pay ranges vary based on work location. As a part of the total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Accuray Bonus Plan or a role-specific commission/bonus, as well as annual refresh stock grants.
